I for one, don't take any joy out of this happening to someone else. My main concern is that it happens as rarely as possible for us. And I would be very happy if it doesn't happen to our rivals either.

I didn't mean to say I'm glad it's happening at GaSo, just that I'm thankfull to read an (familiar) article like that and have it feature their name instead of ours. It was almost an annual thing for us recently.

every team in the country has group of knuckle heads, who are going to do drugs, cause trouble, and always seem to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. They believe their the smartest idiots in the room, and no one will catch them, sadly, its just the way it is, I guess it was just GS time.

Could not agree more. Everyone should also understand that this is not a pot possession/alcohol, they are accused of having some hard stuff.

Marijuana is still considered a schedule 1 drug according to the DEA's web site (http://www.dea.gov/druginfo/ds.shtml). I'm not familiar with Georgia's laws, but most states (NC included) have decriminalized cannabis to the extent that convictions for the possession of small amounts don't result in jail time. Again, I'm not sure how Georgia treats the matter.

Honestly, I wouldn't wish these ills on any person, family or "hated" rival. My wish is that these young men would get the justice and the counseling they need to get their lives back on track, posthaste, regardless of what it means to their football careers.

If that can come to pass, it would mean three down and *only* hundreds of thousands to go. :(
