Crazy as it may sound that Charlotte and Georgia State game could be interesting.

Winner gets their first ever FBS win.

If Ga State loses, App might be the only Sun Belt winner that week.

And probably their last in 2015.

I think they will. GaSt was less than a TD from beating ULL, USA, and NMSU last year. Meanwhile, UNCC took a beating from every scholarship non-HBCU FCS team they played.

It's going to look bad on TV though. These are among the two smallest fan bases in the FBS having a pillow fight during business hours and it's going to be our conference logo on the field, not UNCC's.

I'd be very careful about making that statement! Very different team than two years ago or even beginning of last year, but over the past few years we have had a game that we should have won that we lost each year... I'm actually circling the Howard game as a watch out game given we have Clemson the next week and it's ripe for a game that any team could overlook.

Yes, the 12 people who will be watching on TV are going to be very unimpressed.

Also, different post, but - App isn't losing to Howard.

Bumping since game week is here. Won't be able to be in Boone next week as I am recovering from a recent hospital stay but I will be online at espn3.com. Cheer them on for me!

Why in the world are these two teams playing on a Friday at 3:30 pm? The only people in the stands in that dome are gonna be the few players parents that could get the day off.

I might actually go. Just for the spectacle of it.

I have a West Virgina fan at my work, thus, I'd like to see a GaSo victory this weekend. Kentucy has improved over the last few years, nevertheless, I think ULL can take them. Anyway, I'll be pulling for all Sun Belt teams during OOC games.

Appears as though the puppeteer, ESPN, is trying to have 24 hours of football. Same as they do with Men's Basketball once every year.

It only makes sense to have the mid afternoon Friday game involve the two
Schools with historically poor attendance.

I think GA St. wins at least three games this year. They picked up 5 UAB transfers and 8 or 9 JUCO players that have been on campus since January.

I am definitely looking for the stink to upset the Morgantown neers and will be watching it. Go App!

CUSA got their season started off right (2-1) beating the AAC and SEC with a close loss to the PAC. UCF won the AAC last year but lost quite a bit of talent and FIU played some good D to get the win. Vandy's offense was pretty pathetic and WKU did enough to take advantage. UTSA had a good showing against Zona but was unable to capitalize and sweep the night.

Hopefully the Sun Belt pulls out a few W's. The conference doesn't want to fall to far behind this early in the season. Every program in our conference could use that pot of gold at the end of the CFP rainbow. I realize that most of our conference brethren aren't playing the Vandy's of the world but the conference needs to pick up at least 3 W's this weekend (GSU, App & 1 upset) to keep pace.

A Kentucky football fan (who knew they existed?) called into the Mac Attack in CLT today talking trash about South Carolina. So yeah, I hope LaLa crushes them.

I'll predict Georgia State beats UNCC by two TDs, giving them their first FBS* win.
