Charleston Bowl
Press conference scheduled for Thursday to discuss possible changes to the Medal of Honor Bowl in Charleston. Looks like it will change from an all-star game to a traditional bowl game now that the flag is no longer an issue. Let's hope for a Sunbelt tie-in.

I would be aye-ok with a trip to Charleston. It would look very similar to Nooga 2005 - 2007. OUR HOUSE

Re: Charleston Bowl
HAS to be a Sun Belt tie-in. It's a slam dunk geographically and in terms of the league needing more tie-ins.
Would be a great destination. Only drawback is that the stadium only seats 21,000, and I'm not sure where they would find room for any additional temporary seats.

A long weekend in Chucktown, friends there who'd offer accomodations, great food and history all over the place, and an App football win in a bowl game! That right there is a win-win-win-win situation!Lowcountry App wrote:Press conference scheduled for Thursday to discuss possible changes to the Medal of Honor Bowl in Charleston. We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.

As expected the Medal of Honor will become a traditional bowl game. Conference tie-ins to be determined.

Re: Charleston Bowl
This would be great, but they'll need to replace the remaining original stands behind the visitors bench. That side of the stadium is way past its due date.
