I would have thought if they wanted a defensive guy they would have gone with Pry. I don't have any idea who Summers is, but they are at least pretending to be excited.

Brent Pry (Penn State DC and Monken assistant) seemed to be all-but the coach a few days ago, but apparently talks broke down because of money.
Chadwell was up there but it doesn't appear they offered him.

I have no sympathy. According to multiple examples over his two years there, they benefitted from his questionable/non-existent ethics on more than one occasion

its hard to feel sorry for GS and their fans, since they were perfectly okay with his recruiting tactics while he was their coach, make a deal with the devil.....you would think that this would be a very happy time in Statesboro, with their first bowl, but it looks like Fritz leaving has really put a negative vibe on their bowl week, they seem to be spending their time talking about whether their new coach is any good, and how many recruits Fritz will take with him. Honestly, all this puts a big smile on m face.
