According to the owner, it was an expired credit card on his auto-renew for the domain.

I thouht the tears from the GS may have shorted out the servers.

Damn... opportunity lost.... LOL

That's the definition of holding on loosely. If he cared that would not have occurred. I suspect the owner feels over-worked and under-paid, and probably is.

their twitter account says nothing about this.

Here is the post he put on the SunBelt board,although it does say it was early AM when the problem occurred.

Brief Outage - 12/11/15, Early AM Hours
FYI there was a brief outage very early this AM. My domains are set to auto-renew, but my CC updated and so the renew didn't go through. So for about 3-4 hours in the morning all DNS services and thus all site services were out. You may miss some email/PM notifications or have them highly delayed due to this.

He must have let the iPhone App lapse as well. Has not been a new post show up there since 12/9/15.
