I am happy to announce that the Triangle Chapter has secured an AppState night at the Hurricanes Hockey game on Thursday, March 22nd. We have lower level seats that will be $41/ea - a 50% discount! Tickets will be available for sale this week. I’ll post a link when it is “live.”

It gets even better. We have confirmed that the Hurricanes have named Coach Satterfield the honorary siren sounder for the game & he will be recognized before the game!!!

This event is not closed to just the Triangle Chapter - We extend the invitation to all Alumni & want a large crowd there to show our support for Coach Satt.

Not going to happen this year, much to my displeasure. However, it’s already being worked on for next year. A big turn out in March will go a long way towards making it a reality.

I went to the game against Colorado Saturday night and saw a person pretty close to the Av's bench in an App hockey jersey. Last name looked like Smith...? Anybody in here?

ECU had their night last Saturday against the Avs. Lots of purple and gold (and their stupid chant) but overall they contributed to the atmosphere quite well and it made for a fun game.

With ours being on a Thursday I'm sure it will be tough for a lot of people to make from outside the triangle but it should be worth the trip for those that do. The seating section is great! Wear your App gear and be loud when you are there!

I'm going to try my best to get there but my wife (who is the App Alum) is pregnant so I can't make any promises BUT I'm going to try and have the 2 (3?) of us there!
