Alumni in Myrtle Beach, SC?
Hey all, I'm from Greensboro but I'll be down South in North Myrtle Beach for Labor Day weekend. Is anyone from Myrtle Beach planning on watching the App/Penn State game? If so, where to?

Never mind, BWW in North Myrtle Beach will be showing. The Penn State alumni will also be hosting a viewing party at Milardo's in Myrtle Beach. FYI

Interesting . I have considered that general location myself for the same purpose. A lot of golf courses....appstate77 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 17, 2018 9:51 amIm retiring to the MB area the week before. A few? Yes, dozens and dozens. What part of Little River. My parents lived in Lighthouse Village. I might add it's my favorite area to play golf.

Over 100 to be more precise. There are three within a mile of where we shall be living and I plan with due diligence to take advantage of them...
We are moving into Summer Chase condos about a mile off 17 inland in Little River.

I just graduated but live in the Brunswick county area. If I get off of work in time I’m either going to MB or downtown Wilmington to find the game.

I am familiar, played a good many of them with my Dad while he was with us. You must be off Hwy 90? Some courses are better than others but there are not many bad ones.appstate77 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 17, 2018 12:29 pmOver 100 to be more precise. Haven’t been there in a couple of years but Snooky’s used to have some really good happy hour appetizers.
Crab Catchers looks like a dive but the beer is cold and food is usually good.

Good to see I won't be the only App State Alumni in town. Hope to see you there sir. Btw, this is the one in North Myrtle Beach, not Myrtle Beach.appstate77 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 17, 2018 9:51 amIm retiring to the MB area the week before. Nice. I know for sure the App State Alumni in Wilmington are watching the game at Mac's Speed Shop. The Buffalo Wild Wings in North Myrtle Beach I'll be going to is:
Buffalo Wild Wings
518 Highway 17 North
North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582
And yep, already confirmed they have access to Big 10 Network.

I'll be in MB for Labor Day as well. BWW might be a good choice for me. Last time I went to BWW to watch an App game was in '07. We won 34-32 that day. Maybe watching another game at BWW would be good luck.MountaineerChemist10 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 27, 2018 8:35 amNice. You don’t have a choice ....you have to be at BWW! I’ll be in Pawleys and the wife and I are kicking around the idea of going to the Charleston Alumni gathering.AppfaninCAALand wrote: ↑Mon Aug 27, 2018 12:37 pmI'll be in MB for Labor Day as well.
