The 2013 Men's Bracket has been announced (bracket courtesy of http://www.soconsports.com). Appalachian State ended the season with the #4 seed and will play the winner of #5 Samford and #12 Furman. During the regular season we beat Furman in the only game we played them and split the regular season with Samford. The team seems to be playing their best basketball of the year and we can only hope that it bleeds over into the Socon Tournament. One of the best and worst things about the Socon is that the NCAA tournament bid goes to the Socon Tournament winner. This means it's a new season and we are undefeated. We have an opportunity to wipe the slate clean and get to the dance. Realistically with the way the team has played, there's not telling how we will perform. One things for sure though, let's hope we don't get a big lead in any game. Otherwise - we're toast.
