Colorado and App

Clearly a media/fan fodder piece. But still, we have been paired with Colorado because.....mountains.

On the flipside of that I have to note that we are the only G5 listed. So that speaks highly of us.

Let me say, if we ever played at colorado I'd be packing the rods and making it a trip.

packing the rods, mountain bike and kayaks. Although from what I've seen I don't think I have nearly enough mountain bike for Colorado

Get ready for Wyoming on September 23, 2023...Laramie is an absolutely beautiful 2 hour drive from the Denver airport.

Other than the obvious, this non-conference game is the one I'm most looking forward too because of the scenery and seeing a game in War Memorial Stadium.

I was very upset when this game was scheduled because it was so far away from Wyoming's original trip to Boone. Now that time has passed, and it's 3 years from now, I too am very much looking forward to making that trip. Since my kids will all be older I think a nice Amtrak ride from D.C. to Denver would be nice. Then get a rental and explore everything in that area. Definitely plan to make this game a week trip.

Wyoming will be a fun game. We've got an app grad as their asst. AD of development. Its been a long time since I've talked to him but I checked their website and he is still there, so he must be doing a good job. Some of y'all might remember him from his time working for App.

I made the trip to Wyoming last time. Flew in and out of Denver. Beautiful road trip from there to Laremie. The only disappointment was the game itself.

We have a pretty active alumni group here in Denver Metro. Boulder is a sweet stadium but a game at Air Force in Colorado Springs is special. Service academies do it a little different. Be happy to host some App folks flying in for Wyoming.
Appalachian State, Better than your school since 1899!!!!
