Now I'm at a computer and I definitely see what you were talking about. The background looks kind of washed out and even with no background on the site it doesn't quite work for me.

Here's another idea. You could bring back the old background and use this image instead:

I made the cabin a little smaller, and the background is transparent so inherently it will match whatever background you use.

Transparent didn't work either. How's the white BG on the header look?

What about getting a bit of smoke out of the pipe and/or chimney? Not sure if that'd look good or not - don't want it looking like the pipe smoke is going through the chimney!

The white is an improvement, but I still think it could be better.

At first glance it's a white background, but it actually has a small amount of transparency to it, so you get a hint of the background behind it. If this works we could add/subtract to get the necessary amount of transparency. Let me know what you think.

I had the same idea about adding smoke, but I also had the same concern that it would look like the smoke was coming out of pipe and then up the chimney. I'll see if I can make it look good though.

Can you turn the cabin around to where Yosef is facing into the page? That, or put him on the other side of "Yosef's Cabin?". Other than that, the logo kicks arse, big time.
