I have mixed feelings about beauty pageants but it seems for the consecutive years an App State student has won the title of Miss North Carolina.

Kelly Trogdon ‘99, Katie Miller ‘18
Kelly lived in Cone on the 1st floor I believe. I was friends with her roommate and met her a few times. Super friendly! I was surprised she noticed I existed.

Let us not forget our most memorable pageant winner. I had the extreme honor of meeting her in 2007 downstairs in the old Welbourne
