Who would hire Charlie Cobb?
Just look at his track record--
--Great basketball hire! Capel
--Great football hire! Satterfield

Seriously doubt it. If he can't get an interview at his Alma Mater and a train wreck like So Miss won't hire him Va Tech won't give him a sniff. With a new chancellor coming aboard and his contract running out we had a real chance to be rid of him July 1. But thanks to the BOT giving him an extension this summer it looks like we're stuck with him until 2017. Wonder who the clown was that pushed that through?

And what an insult to the new chancellor.

Just one correction for the record…..I know for a fact that Charlie was the lead candidate for the position at So Miss… He withdrew his name from consideration but he was most likely going to be offered the job had he not.

I have no idea where he has been offered or for that matter why. I can tell you one place he will not be offered and that is VT.

Charlie Cobb has as much chance getting the AD job at VT as a Community Organizer does getting elected US President.

We can't get him hired, we can't get him fired, Can we get him Indicted for something?
That's what I do. I gripe and I know things.
