Police work is actually one of the few jobs where being aggressive, overachieving ect should be discouraged. District attorneys even more so IMO.
And I'm a professional student at this point -- in a subject not too far removed from the topic at hand. I'll leave it at that.

All I'm saying is, if the goal of quelling behavior isn't being accomplished, and seemingly all that is accomplished is bad press and sullied records, why bother enforcing in way that is self described as "aggressive?" Why not just a moderate amount of enforcement?
