Article on "Suicide Clusters" with Appalachian

Unread post by newtoasu » Thu Feb 12, 2015 10:19 am

There is an article on Inside Higher Education that discusses two universities (Tulane and Appalachian) that have experienced a higher than normal number of suicides in recent years. I have not read it yet (have to go to class) but thought others might be interested.

As disheartening as it is that we have lost so many students in this academic year, I am impressed to the degree that the university tries to meet the needs of students in distress.
