Definitely huge for the school, can't wait to see Owens GONE. What an eyesore that is. Really, with the track gone and Owens replaced, the stadium will look big league for the first time ever, and hopefully we'll get some decent televised games with a nationally ranked team by that time!

Just as long as they don’t install a waterfall fixture.

But ours would light up on a regular basis.....

My bad on breaking the story 66, definitely wasn’t trying to steal your shine!

I had attended a meeting with some folks from campus who shared the information so I figured the news was public knowledge at that point. This is fantastic news and should transform Appalachian. I’m excited to see the final product.

Now if the leadership can put together another campaign in the coming years that solely focuses on trying to increase the university’s endowment between $150-$200mil, we can really go after those upper echelon students.

We should come up with the first hologram midfield logo so that the block looks to be facing each set of stands. Then we can set up tv crews on the east side to get good shots of the raucous students and the A wouldn’t be upside down on tv.
