I wish the north endzone facility matched more of the materials used in the athletic center to bring a sense of unity to the stadium.

This campaign is going to tell us a lot about our support and fan base, I look forward to seeing how this opportunity is conducted and the results of it.

Are these enhancements to put us on par with other top G5 schools, or are these enhancements to make a P5 offer more appealing? Maybe a mix of both? Anyone know? Regardless of the motive it is awesome to see these changes.

Definitely to put us on par with the average G5 schools, but you're right it will be great to take the next step!

I think all is conceptional. Can anyone confirm?

I like the look of UNCCH Blue Zone, ODU's building and the Troy project.

It is interesting to me that there is room for two more buildings behind that appear to be dorms? Is that conceptional too?

The one on the left is a renovated Bowie.

These are big $$$'s. Curious to know the amount already raised by silent donors.

The 2007-2008 Facilities Enhancement Campaign raised just $32 million & the $200 mil Campiagn for Appalachian fell $8 million short of its $50 million goal.

This is both of those campaigns wrapped up in one and all occurring within 10 years of each other.

Personally, I would like priorities 1 & 2 to be establish 2 endowment funds. The first to fully fund athletic scholarships and the second to fund coaches salaries. Once that is done anything above and beyond go to facilities.

Agree with Saint. This will show what the fan base is made of.

Luckily we have a new administration in athletic department who have already proven to be superior to the previous athletic admin.

According to your article, we exceeded the $200m campaign but the athletics portion fell a bit short of the goal.

UNC and Troy look very dated. Not an aesthetic we need at our facility.

I took your original statement to mean that the $200 mil goal was not met by the university. Didn't want that word to go out.

I now get your meaning. We never got a major corp. gift for athletics. That needs to happen this time. We need to score a couple of $10-15 mil major donor gifts!

I gave to this, but where did this money go? All to scholarship funds?

We've been told track removal is in line soon. It seems inevitable given that this end zone structure is sitting on a portion of the track, making it useless for track meets, so I assume it's happening as part of this enhancement.

‪Will I ever see a rendering of a potential KB Stadium enhancement that goes to the trouble of removing the track? Is it that hard to depict, graphic design-wise?‬
