I was at Dunham's in Asheboro this afternoon and they had no App clothing or caps except a jacket with the old logo (Gorton's Fisherman) on it and no lettering.

Where? That's the only large sporting goods store in the area. Hibbets has even less App Gear if any.CVAPP wrote:Then I reckon you need to find a new store.NewApp wrote:They had plenty of UNC, State, Duke, and EZU apparel.CVAPP wrote:Perhaps this comes as news to you, but sporting goods stores ain't doing so well these days.NewApp wrote:I was at Dunham's in Asheboro this afternoon and they had no App clothing or caps except a jacket with the old logo (Gorton's Fisherman) on it and no lettering.

I have bought things there in the past but I don't want to drive 200 miles round trip.SayYesToTheRock wrote:Locally-owned stores in Boone have plenty of App gear and do not carry UNC-ch, NCSU, EZU, or other apparel.
They would love your business.
Every bit of App gear I bought on line is low quality and butt ugly.CVAPP wrote:You might try shopping online.
Then head to Boone. 200 miles round trip isn't that far. While you are there, grab a bite to eat and help out the other local businesses.NewApp wrote:Every bit of App gear I bought on line is low quality and butt ugly.CVAPP wrote:You might try shopping online.
Sounds like a user error. There is plenty of great Nike gear available from a number of reputable websites. App's bookstore has a HUGE online selection as well.NewApp wrote:Every bit of App gear I bought on line is low quality and butt ugly.CVAPP wrote:You might try shopping online.
He'll be more upset when he finds out the bootleg site from which he ordered stole his credit card info.NO.2 wrote:Sounds like a user error. Wrong again, Bonzo. This was a year and a half ago and I have suffered no repercussions on my credit card and have excellent fraud protection on the one I use most. It was licensed gear, just gaudy.Gonzo wrote:He'll be more upset when he finds out the bootleg site from which he ordered stole his credit card info.NO.2 wrote:Sounds like a user error. Never found anything to my taste on the bookstore site. Plus the quality is slipping even there. Nike sells some crap, too, from time to time. My best jacket came from the bookstore, but alas, it got stolen at the last Elon-App football game.NO.2 wrote:Sounds like a user error.
