No matter your political affiliation, this is great for the university.

This was a good appointment. 95 to 4 senators confirmed him and he's an App guy.

Tread very lightly on the political comments.

Didn't realize admins alter people's comments on this site. Interesting.

It was either do that or delete the whole thing. I'm trying to leave the thread open because it involves an App grad.

i don't know if anyone happened to see the article about Brock on Charlotte Observer.com but the title was "FEMA chief handling Harvey response is a little-known App State grad. Is he ready?" The tone just struck me wrong--maybe it was just my perception. I read it to mean how could an APP Grad handle this incredibly challenging event. I don't pay to have access the Observer so I did not actually read the article Did anyone else feel the same way?

Regardless, I am extremely proud of the guy and wish him the best!!! He and his team have a tremendous challenge ahead and I hove no doubt the are ready to handle it.

Brock will do as well or better than his predecessors at FEMA. That certainly won't stop the Trump haters from hating FEMA's Trump-appointed leadership.

I saw it and it has spread across the world as a hit piece whether that was the author's intention or not. I have no use for THE DISTURBER.

Sad thing is that the story is solid. The headline hurts it though IMO.
