Good. Those groups exist everywhere. I just hate to see a banner like that at App. Glad the University acted swiftly! I really had no doubt they would.

I hadn't heard of this group either. I Googled it and it appears the organization was just formed in 2016 by a former Marine who went to prison for armed robbery of a taxi cab (he thought the driver was Iraqi). Apparently, prison was the perfect place for him to find tune his hate skills. for the record, the founder is from California, so the South doesn't have a lock on these hate groups.

You all should check out their application to become a member. What a bunch of clowns!

We should get every poster to fill out a fake application giving them a piece of our mind. If we get enough people to participate and submit them all at the same time, maybe we can crash their server.

App is not the only college to have these gorilla advertising tactics used on their campus by this group.

IMO, The best course is to simply remove the banner and not mention it. These groups rely on free publicity to garner an audience. Any public announcement or hits on their website raises their profile and is exactly what they want. Don't give them the audience they desire.

I agree with this 100%. From what people on this thread have research about the group they have don't seem to have a tie to the area or school. I think a knee jerk reaction from the student body or school administration would make the situation worse.

Apparently, the group has dispatched a "courier" on a tour to the east. One reference I saw mentions activity at Ohio State, among others. Sadly, an institution of any significant size seems ripe for some sort of dark underbelly.

Being a conservative.....I have as much animosity towards this group as I do the others......whether labeled left or right....they all represent hate and are fascist leaning in some way.
