Fascinating and good hire. They went from a traditional SID/communications guy to someone who knows what it's like on the other side. When you're mountain school with a stadium capacity larger than your student population or local population, you need someone who knows what he's doing.

Really excited for Bret. This should help us get more media out. The former person in his role didn't really do too much in that regard.

I'll echo the comments of everyone before me. Great hire! Bret tells a great story and has the perfect mix of skills for this position. I'm sure these busy next few months will see a bit of a catch-up/learning curve but hopefully, by this time next year, Bret will have a team in place that can develop some continuity and consistency and really be a front-line force in telling the Mountaineers story.

Interesting hire... I'm not sure people know all that an athletic communications professional does behind the scenes. Website maintenance, social media, graphic design. It's not an easy job and not something that just anyone can do. Hope Brett succeeds, but it won't be an easy task!
