I bet we get an announcement any day now that the track will be gone by kickoff 2018. It surely won't take another 2 years and they will have to work on it during the off-season. I bet they start as soon as this season ends?

I like the idea of rocks/boulders with some mountain laurel and rhododendrons surrounding the field. Would have the outer three lanes 6-8 of the track for fans to walk, middle three lanes 3-5 for rocks, boulders and shrubs and remaining two inside track lanes 1-2 for players and equipment.

No different than anything else along the sidelines...brick wall, trainer table, water coolers, stationary bikes, golf cart, bleachers, hedges, etc,,,

Well the only really important subject is removal of the track. If the track had been removed long ago we would have been able to recruit the players we wanted, won 3 national championships, moved to FBS and won 2 bowl games. But ooh no we had to leave the damn thing there and now look at where we are.

Purple shouldn't be allowed in KBS unless we're playing ECU, and even then it should be confined to a small section of the stadium, lol.

For what it’s worth NCSU v UVA soccer on now. Playing at State and announcers talked about the “tight” field that happens to be enclosed by a track. Guess it can be done
