Flooding in Boone

Unread post by T-Dog » Sun Oct 08, 2017 8:28 pm

Just got home in Blowing Rock.

It's really bad in Boone tonight. Blowing Rock Road from the Holmes Center to 105 was blocked off by LEOs due to flooding. The first floor of Rankin Science West is flooding. Durham Park is underwater.

Wow! We've been getting hammered in the Aho/Bamboo area but I haven't left the house. Looks like a wise decision.

To be fair, Durham Park being underwater is a feature not an unexpected issue.
That's what I do. I gripe and I know things.
