Black Eyed Susans are....

...now officially the flower of Appalachian State. Appalachian Magazine sent out a pack of the seeds to everyone on the alumni mailing list and announced the flowers as our official flower. They would look good bordering Kidd-Brewer field where the track currently is.

The magazine was IMO absolutely top drawer! The articles and info was superb.

I saw Grady Davis planting Black-eyed Susans outside of UNCC’s campus. :lol:
