I have dreams that Luke and Eric Church will get together someday and make us a game day anthem...something to play just before the team runs out the tunnel. Kind of like Sandman at VT or Country Road at WV.
I agree, BUT:
Better watch out saying that around here...
But, muh Shawn Connery and welcome to the rock...

Did Luke really not pick up a guitar until age 20? THAT is nuts. What a huge testament to what can happen if you want to make it happen!

Not only did he start late but he plays the guitar right handed but he is left handed.

Luke Combs yes. Eric Church no. He would be more likely to do that in Chapel Hill where his favorite college is located. Please leave him out of any conversation. He has no love for App State or at least never shows it.
You apparently don't know Eric Church or his family.
I know how many times he’s been on ESPN wearing baby blue vs black and gold. :-D

This is a common point of disagreement among us all but it is literally impossible to deny his love for the Tar Heels regardless of how much he may love App State. Some people will rush to his defense and that’s fine. But don’t tell me you can go on National TV wearing another school’s gear and then claim you give your all for your alma mater.
I'm with you. He made it clear his first love is in Chapel Hill. Of course, we all went to App and saw people like Church representing their favorite triad team around campus. What did it for me is when he finally started representing us a little, came to The Rock, and brought along his clothing and merchandise..... it just felt like self promoting to sell his stuff to us like we would all be smitten with his presence and rush to buy some gear. My wife loves country and likes some of Church's music, she has gotten an earful from me everytime I see his face and walk past his tent on the way to my seat. He is App Family, so he will get a tip of the cap for that, but I will respect Luke's seemingly more genuine App fandom over Eric's.

Maybe not as extreme in price difference as golf clubs but left-handed guitars are more expensive and harder to find than right handed guitars.

I am a leftie that does lots of things with right-handed tools due to availability, though my sister did buy me a left-handed guitar some years ago

Makes sense. I am left handed as well. I eat, write and throw left but can do everything else righty.

I bat right and play golf right (shared clubs with my dad due to cost of leftie clubs. Basically things I was taught is right handed. Things I do innately, write, eat and even kick a ball is left handed/footed. I serve tennis right handed but do a lot with my left hand, especially soft control shots. If I do boxing I would power with my left and hook with my right hand. Like all the great guitar players (Paul McCartney and Dave Wakeling) my sorry attempt at guitar is left handed. My sister asked me a few times what I thought I would prefer and decided left handed feels the most natural.

I’m a lefty, and do almost everything left handed, but I kick right and what little I’ve played around with a guitar, has been right, just because I don’t own one. Still, I can’t imagine playing lefty, and once you learn more than the Greenday three chords, I can see how a lefty playing righty would be an advantage.

Lefties are wired differently, and I understand the defaulting to using a right handed guitar. I can see that also to some extent for right handed hammers and screwdrivers, but to kick right footed is something I would not expect.

I also kick right footed.

Do you own left-handed scissors or just tear and not cut?

To be that left-sided is rare.

Well, I can operate a ten-key right handed.

I have left handed scissors.

Another musician, who is lefty and plays a right handed guitar is Eric Gales, blues guy. Phenomenal on the guitar.

Heard him play live a couple of years ago. Amazing is an understatement.

You are the Ned Flanders of this board.

I think only three pair of left-handed scissors have every been made and one pair is with the Smithsonian. I think the other pair went down with the Titantic.

I am highly impressed and to be truthful, very jealous. I think I would have much more dexterity if I had been able to use some left-tools when younger.
