RIP: Mike Hogewood, Former Voice of the Mountaineers
Numerous news outlets reported the death of NC sportscaster Mike Hogewood on Wednesday. He was just 63. Hogewood was a former voice of App State football. After a long stint at News 2, WFMY-TV in Greensboro, Hogewood launched a successful run with freelance sportscasting, community theatre and advertising. RIP, Mike.

Spoke to Mr. Hogewood at a HPU basketball game last season. Great person and very gracious.

Wow, he was young. Sad to hear as he did a lot of things around the NC sports scene
