We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Dreadful Wind and Rain
Ya'll keep us in Watauga County in your meaningful thoughts. More flooding than I've seen in 17 years, and now the wind has arrived. Being at 3,333 pretty much guarantees no catastrophic flooding, but I'm worried about mudslides and falling trees. I'm worried about one of 200 trees surrounding my house falling on my house. Thankful for insurance.

Yeah it was really bad this morning. Appears the worst is past and now the temps will drop and drop. The Boone Mall ice rink will be open by morning.

But this weekend is going to be splendid. October in Boone can’t be beat.
