Boone Branding
Downtown Boone Association has revealed it's new slogan- "Elevation 3333-Live it Up."
I kind of like it, but isn't it a bit awkward to have a slogan that could be confused for an advertisement for a very nearby restaurant?
Thoughts?

Working at Harris Teeter in Boone during the summer.... Floridians used to tip for me bringing out their groceries. They helped a broke college kid buy lots of beer.....

Working in produce there, they also complained they could get cheaper and better items in Florida.appstatealum wrote: ↑Sun Jan 20, 2019 3:14 amWorking at Harris Teeter in Boone during the summer.... A popular bumper sticker when I was in school was "Drive Right, This Ain't Florida."

Re: Boone Branding
I worked Dairy/Frozen when I first got there since I was transferring as an Asst. Manager in Charlotte..... I was "removed" from the department due to me coming in hungover a few times. I was still faster than most of the employees (Mountain City transfers) . I told them to send me upfront to bag groceries, I was making double digits per hour back then to clean bathrooms and push carts. Easy money.biggie wrote: ↑Sun Jan 20, 2019 7:55 amWorking in produce there, they also complained they could get cheaper and better items in Florida.appstatealum wrote: ↑Sun Jan 20, 2019 3:14 amWorking at Harris Teeter in Boone during the summer....
