Surprised this isn't a more active thread, I'm real curious about the details...

Maybe it will keep assistant coaches from leaving; maybe it will help keep our head coach here too.

Curious about how long we will have to wait to get the actual news.

On another note, anyone know if there are specific settings that allow me to see tweets within the threads? All of mine show as an error. Might be an access issue with my laptop.

This is great news. Even better news would be if we had record breaking amount of donors as well.

I've heard of several larger #MakeAnImpact donations in the works over the past couple of months. If the one DG is referring to is the one I think it is it's NICE. Everyone just stand by as Doug isn't one to tease for long. He wouldn't put something out unless it was a finished deal. More will follow soon.

Make sure your cookies are enabled....

I heard of a few guys DG was targeting, one of which was a board member that just retired from my company. Let’s just say he received an enormous compensation package and should have some funds available to donate to Yosef. I may or may not have tipped DG to that info....

BB&T and SunTrust merger.... Maybe they will invest more to show regional good will....

I can't view twitter on my work computer, so have to pull it up on my phone to see the twitter posts on this site.

That would be nice, but they are moving to Charlotte for the new HQ. This would be a good way to push into the new parts of WNC.

Someone help me out here. What is the definition of a "Make An Impact" pledge? Is that a specific program that has been targeting high potential contributors, or is it just a general term for a big donation?

It's for overall athletics. The idea (I assume) is "everyone can make an impact on the lives of these student athletes"
