I was watching the Major League Fishing's live stream from Falls Lake and heard Marty Stone, MLF's analyst, say something about his studies at Appalachian State. Marty is a NC native and I'm wondering if anyone knows Marty and something about his time at App.
Marty's an excellent on air personality with a good following in bass circles.

Capt. Ed, Marty Stone was born and raised in Eden, NC. I can confirm that he attended App State. Not only did have a great love of fishing, he was good softball player here in Eden. But my memory of his years at Appalachian is fleeting. I graduated from App in the Fall semester of 1983.
