Just read where InBev has declined the option to purchase.HkyMtneer wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2019 5:20 amYou haven't missed it. AB InBev is still sitting on the deal...and they have to pull the trigger by midnight tomorrow (24th) or pay the $20 mil fee and still allow the CBA to use the AB network and distribution platform. Then of course, the CBA will likely begin taking new offers for purchase and would most likely sell to another multi-national, meaning that the CBA would be, in essence, controlled by 2 competing big boys. It'd make for a strange operating arrangement no doubt!appchicago wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2019 9:53 pmYep. AB InBev (not an American company anymore, btw) owns 31% of CBA and has been mulling a buyout (though that hasn’t happened yet unless I missed something in the last day or two).

Re: App-branded Beer
Just thought I would provide another review since the others here haven't been so positive. I expected a 4.2% beer to taste like a 4.2% beer, however this does not. It actually has a pretty good depth of flavor with a pretty strong malt taste and I think it will be delicious come fall.

Yep...there went the opportunity for a quick little stock gainer. Oh well, at least AMB will maintain a little more of their "independence" for a little bit longer.goapps93 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2019 10:05 amJust read where InBev has declined the option to purchase.HkyMtneer wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2019 5:20 amYou haven't missed it. Re: App-branded Beer
Craft beer of course but crispy boys AND crispy girls?!
What a delight! Price point is where I expected it. I'm curious as to whether these are 12, 16, or 24 oz. Probably 16 for beers and 12 for seltzer.

Re: App-branded Beer
Only minor thing I'd change is since it's Yosef Golden Ale, why not have the Yosef logo on it instead of the block A? Maybe it's a licensing thing. But that will not stop me from buying and drinking many.

Re: App-branded Beer
I'm going to go with 16 oz for the craft brews. It better not be 12...those price points wouldn't work. Since the Yosef Ale is out in 16'ers now, I'm imagining that's a sure-fire bet for what we will be seeing. On the domestic side: It would be nice if they had a tall boy 24 oz option for a couple of dollars more than the 16's. Would mean a few less trips for many, thus shortening lines, and helping smooth the process along.

Can you get the Neer Beer in long neck bottles?
Bottom of label should state Kick Ass!

Re: App-branded Beer
If anyone is looking to pick some up over this next weekend Peabody's has the cheapest price in town on it. I was pointed that direction by a friend that works for AMB.

Re: App-branded Beer
Bought 3 4-Packs at Peabody's last weekend. One for the ETSU game and two for the UNCheat game. Will do the same thing this weekend for the You In See Sharlotte game and two for the UNCheat game. Plan on handing out a few to folks that will be in our parking lot regardless of the school they are pulling for.

Re: App-branded Beer
We stopped at Lowe's on the way into Boone Saturday and I bought an over-priced cardboard tray full for about $70 bucks and my wife was like...really?!? I said, yeah, I think it's only available in Boone right now and when will we be back? She was like, ummm...we're going to be back in a week. I was like, oh yeah, a whole week...I better get more...
