Any idea how I can get some in Dallas TX?
I'm in San Diego, and I'm trying to figure that out too. One of my local craft beer shops might be able to get an order in.
Any fellow Appalachian fan that see's some of this brew and would be kind enough to ship it to me I would be happy to pay you.

DM me and I'll send you my address.

This is AMB's recommendation to get a hold of the Yosef Golden, or any of their beers (still going to see if a local store will stock it, since AMB said they can't ship it to people).

Wish it was a Booneshine Black and Goldenhour.

Had a family member pick up a case at the brewery today. I’ll have them ice cold for the UNC game to show them off!

Nice,

Now I can counter all of those Old Tuffy posts flooding my Facebook feed, lol.

This is way better than what NCSU did with the release of their Old Tuffy Premium Lager in partnership with New Belgium. All the local breweries in Raleigh and they went out of town. Glad to see ASU partnering with a local brewery with App roots.
Yeah I find that interesting as well. And it’s the same exact beer that Colorado State got it’s just unique branding.
It's the Eric Church clothing line of beers. ;)

I'm hoping that I can load up on this for the UNC game so that my Carolina grad daughter only has this to drink at our tailgate.
In her defense, she's an App State football fan when we're playing anybody else as she grew up attending games at The Rock. She and her sister still talk about when the goal posts were torn down after that Georgia Southern game..

Make sure you have a six pack of these on hand for your daughter.

I had some on tap at AMB last Friday and liked it. It's good ale.

I'm a big fan of encouraging others to form their own opinions based on their tastes.

Personally, my quick review would be:

4.2% beer made sense to me to give to the masses. Thought it must taste like Bud/Mich/PBR but has cool logo. Taste.... I'd had one neat glass of Weller Bourbon. It broke my heart when I tasted Yosef's Golden Ale and it was swill to me personally. I haven''t eaten a foot, but it tasted like feet to me. I'll drink 5 per game in stadium, nonetheless. Just have to kill tastebuds beforehand.

Imho... nasty

I'm not a cool hipster with a well manicured beard though, so my opinion may not matter.

Booneshine makes better beer for sure.

I hope they have some basic American Busch products for us non-hipster beer snob types.

You are eternally invited to our tailgate.

The can is AWESOME. The beer - disappointing to me. I hope enough people like it to support the brand.

Funny thing is that AMB is owned by Craft Brew Alliance, whose biggest single stakeholder is Anheiser Busch.

Yep. AB InBev (not an American company anymore, btw) owns 31% of CBA and has been mulling a buyout (though that hasn’t happened yet unless I missed something in the last day or two).

You haven't missed it. AB InBev is still sitting on the deal...and they have to pull the trigger by midnight tomorrow (24th) or pay the $20 mil fee and still allow the CBA to use the AB network and distribution platform. Then of course, the CBA will likely begin taking new offers for purchase and would most likely sell to another multi-national, meaning that the CBA would be, in essence, controlled by 2 competing big boys. It'd make for a strange operating arrangement no doubt!

If we are going to do it, now is the time. And I'll say it first!

I want my beer in a cup with ice!

Sorry, it's just a habit to respond that way when we discuss beverages in KBS.
