I don't have Facebook or Twitter either. But, I do not think you have to be a member to look at the video or other content. I've never had issues viewing the video.

I stopped using facebook about 2 years ago, with the exception being that my neighborhood has a page for all their useless stuff, so I go there once a week and make sure I haven't missed anything important. I got tired of people trying to sell me stuff and the overwhelmingly partisan debates on both sides. Just didn't need it.
^^^^THIS is the appropriate response to about 75% of the posts on YC in the past 36 hours.yosef13 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2019 2:20 pmLet's not complain to DG about pressers being on FB and Twitter please. Y'all are going to run everyone out of town if you keep up all this whining. The music is too loud, not loud enough, not enough band music, too much piped in music, we are wearing the wrong color, the beer is too expensive, not enough ice, somebody is yelling, my parking spot is gone, I have to use Twitter, where did goasu.com go, we did not win good enough. It goes on and on. Stop.
Kitten videos, I’m going to open an account tonight!!!!!!Rick83 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2019 2:11 pmWell....you're missing out on a lot of misleading political crap and funny kitten videos my brother..Mjohn1988 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2019 2:00 pmI’ve been an adult for a long time now and I don’t have, need or want Facebook.AppSt12 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2019 12:35 pm210 million Americans have facebook.Mjohn1988 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2019 8:02 amWhy do the think everybody is on Facebook??? Didnt even realize that about GOASU.com......been on my favorites list for years and just click on it and it takes me where I want to be.
also, it appeared to me that Drink was thanking Shawn Clark on the sidelines after the second, longer TD throw to Virgil. Maybe that was Clark's play call. The Rock wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2019 8:01 amI think the reason he didn't have defensive staff there was for a couple reasons.
1) he wanted to take responsibility as the HC. He knows everyone is upset and didn't want to hang his staff out to dry. I admire it, and he is taking responsibility and ownership of all his team; and I'm sure he wanted to address those things privately with his staff. I wouldn't want the type of coach who would go to a presser and blame HIS DC and throw him under the bus in public; not a good leadership quality.
2) Based off comments from other threads, I believe the defensive staff was having meetings at that time on what wasn't working and needed improvement.
I didn't like his answer as to why they weren't there when I heard it live, but in reality, you don't want to air your dirty laundry to the media via a press conference.
I am with you on the preference vs performance issue, and hope we are working out the differences between what change our players can adapt to quickly and easily and what Roof wants to run.
Edit to add: I like the way Drink is open to changing his play calls based on what his coordinators and players see and think will work.
He said Link had wanted to run the play for a blocked punt earlier, but he didn't feel like it was a good time, but then decided to run it near the end of the half and it worked. When ZT threw the first TD pass to Virgil, Drink had originally called a run play, but ZT told him they needed to throw it to Virgil. There was a timeout for a review, so Drink called the play ZT wanted and it was successful too.
Sheesh. An IT guy who refuses to use the largest social media platform in the world. I only use Facebook because it's a required portal to the business pages I (in part) manage and for the plug-ins for other websites. Don't like it? Don't go on it, but recognize you don't HAVE to view the content you don't want. Unfriend people and mute pages that post the content you don't like.
Yeah that's fine...I was just answering the question "why do they assume everyone had Facebook?"Mjohn1988 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2019 2:00 pmI’ve been an adult for a long time now and I don’t have, need or want Facebook.AppSt12 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2019 12:35 pm210 million Americans have facebook.Mjohn1988 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2019 8:02 amWhy do the think everybody is on Facebook??? Lol here's what you're saying: "I can't access this good content on FB because I'm not on FB. I'm not on FB because only bad content is on FB"
I hear ya, I mainly use FB for the news feeds and I see a lot of App stuff and college sports stuff...it's about all it's good for. I need to get on Twitter though...held out on that one for some reason.BeauFoster wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2019 2:16 pmI stopped using facebook about 2 years ago, with the exception being that my neighborhood has a page for all their useless stuff, so I go there once a week and make sure I haven't missed anything important. I get my dog videos from Twitter (which I find to be better than FB because you can weed out some of the stuff you don't care about by controlling retweets and filtering keywords). Twitter as a news source is good because you can follow beat writers and get their articles as soon as they are posted. Plus the interaction with those writers can sometimes lead to getting your specific question asked of a coach or player (I've seen this happen in pro sports).
