The way DG was talking, sounds like the track removal/turf redo will more than likely be done before this season as planned. That was good to hear. Unless I missed it I didn’t hear him address moving in Miller Hill which I’m also really looking forward to them doing.

Looks like Noah has a Yosef Golden Ale sitting on his left shoulder.

I took it as if the two projects are a package deal in DG's mind and that the bids came back favorable given the current construction environment. I can't imagine the turf pricing had much leeway so I assume it was the track removal and hill regrade that came back in lower than expected. You could tell he really wanted to be wise in financial planning before writing the check but the trade-off of lower cost versus financial risk was worth moving forward. In other words, I'm MORE optimistic now than yesterday morning that both projects are going to be done in time for football 2020!

I took his comments to mean that turf manufacturers and installation firms are starved for business due to the economic nose-dive caused by COVID-19. The bids for the turf replacement came in much lower than expected. I must have been so hyped up about that GREAT news that I was having a celebration in my head when he talked about Miller Hill. I just didn't ear that part of his presentation.

I like your "take."
