I had to go to the Post Office this morning. As I was getting back into my car, there was an older gentleman in the car next to me wearing a "UCLA Dad" shirt. I didn't look to see what he was doing but he had his window down and the radio was playing Luke Combs "Even Though I'm Leaving." Loved it!

I've been pretty consistent on this issue. Church's Tar Hole fandome was benign for a long time. I attended two of his concerts after becoming aware of his duel allegiances. It was when he appeared on the video board at Kenan Stadium when UNC played his alma mater last year declaring he was a "Tar Heel Born and Tar Heel Bred" etc that he became public enemy #1. Even after that my scorn, Eric Church Sucks chant included, has been a half-joke anyway.

These guys are country stars and they bro out with media to be more likable.

And dude, you've gotta move on. It pathetic how much you talk about me on here. I'm sure the sanctimonious killjoy schtick isn't going anywhere, but you have to let your personal animus go. It isn't healthy.

Yeah Gonzo isn't wrong on this one. Church and Combs can root for whoever they want, but it's corny when you attended App State and don't lead in with I'm a Mountaineer first. At the very least, show some pride to the university you attended. To be honest I could take or leave their pop country anyway. Fawning over these guys just because they went to App but seem pretty indifferent to it is weird to me.

Almost hate to admit it but I watched the UNC game again today and I think Luke was on our sideline at that game. After we called our last time out the camera zooms in on the UNC kicker and there is a man standing on our sideline who is just about in the center of the frame and it looks just like Luke Combs. Some of you guys take a look and tell me what you think.

I am not a new or old country fan. When you cut your teeth on Jimi it’s hard to listen to it. Having said that I like Luke Combs. Seems like good people.
