Yosef Club BBQ Sauce

I decided to get out of the house today so the wife and I jumped in the auto and started driving. We ended up driving across the county and shopping at the Bi-Rite grocery store in Stokesdale. This is an independent Galaxy grocery store. The first thing I notice in the store is Yosef Club branded BBQ suace. The sauce is made by Thomas Gourmet Foods which is based in Greensboro. I am guessing grandkids or greatgrandkids of the family have a connection to App State.
There website doesn't mention this branded produce so it may be very new or of limited run. They might sale mail order if you call.

Here are some links to pics of the label sharing from my Google Drive.

That’s pretty cool. I wonder who the Yosef Club was marketing it to. It wasn’t this member or I’d have bought some.

If I get a chance it give Thomas a call and see if they can give me a low down on ordering. Thomas used to sell in some local groceries being a Greensboro company but I don't see them in stores as much (their classic Thomas sauce that is.) I have never seen their products outside of Greensboro but I am not really looking for it either. It used to be in a few area restaurants as well but that is rare now as well.
They need to get this up to Boone and see how it sells. Maybe that is the plan in the future.

Hopefully it tastes better than AMB's Yosef Golden Ale.

I am going to put the sauce on some pork chops on the grill soon, maybe tomorrow. I'll report back.

Looks like the same ingredients as the regular sweet BBQ sauce on their website.

If you find out anything about ordering, please pass the word.
Holidays are coming and this would make a great add to Christmas presents or stocking stuffers.

Awesome Xmas gifts...for that selective fan of ribs and more ribs. Give us an update on the sauce.

I figured a rebranding and not a reformulation. Financially it would make to most sense to add a new sticker than new contents to the container.

You should find it on the Thomas Sauce tab here
http://thomasgourmetfoods.com/products.php?cat=7
but it may be moved to the Affiliates tab. The person I was talking to over the phone mentioned the web page was having some glitches and it was showing up in one area but it should be on the Affiliates tab in the future.

Likely the grandkids of the founding generation.

I should have asked for a commission.
It is pretty good sauce. We had the tangy flavor on some pork chops last night. I likely will prefer the more classic bold flavor but it was good last night.
I should have asked if they do pickup sales at their location that is near the area between Greensboro and High Point near the airport. That would be easier to get to for me than driving to Stokesdale from McLeansville.
