I saw on Football Scoop that Ga. Southern has relieved OC Bob DeBesse of his duties.

Feels like a scapegoat move to me. I know that GS fans are upset with the L's this year, but it seems like they have actually improved as the year has gone on. Seems like Lunsford is scrambling to buy himself some more time and avoid the blame.

His love of that "progressive, throwing of the football downfield" has no place in Statesboro.
They have actually thrown the ball 134 times this year for 1,013 yards, already ahead of last year's 13 game totals.
