Ken Burns documentary. I believe it was about 30 mins into part 2. During his
banishment, Ali spoke at Churches, Clubs, and Universities including "Appalachian
State University (pronounced correctly by narrator), Howard University and the University
of Chicago. Wonder if the picture shown during this narrative is App since he said it first.
That would have been what 68 or 69?

I saw this. I was at App between 74-77. I think it was well before my time.

Remember his talk. They invited my friend Gale Jolley on the stage to ask him a question. Gale commented that Ali’s hands weren’t that big. Ali then faked a jab to Gale’s chest and said “but I’m fast”. Gale almost had a heart attack!
