Evidently our App grad has risen pretty high up in the ranks of the FBI. He was interviewed in the CNN special on the Gabby Petito case.

Wasn't he one of the ones investigating Rudolph the dumpster diver in Western NC?

Chris was heavily involved in Iraq and anti-terrorism. He probably had to retire at mandatory age of 55. Had his own consulting company.

The FBI is a serious mess. Don’t know Chris from Adam. I can only hope he uses his influence to straighten that agency out.

An indicator of Chris' love and respect for ASU is that he sent his daughter, Laurin, to play Volleyball for the Apps.
She worked her way into the lineup as an early enrollee and alternated as a starter as an outside hitter and as a middle blocker for four years; graduating with honors with a 3.92 GPA in Advertising. Two proud Swecker grads!
A family dynasty could develop from this beginning!

Great guy, good friend, and had the misfortune of playing back up to Robbie Price at QB. Chris could sling it but was not as adept at the option as Robbie was. To say "da boy done good" is an understatement.asu66 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 15, 2022 6:56 amA conversation with Chris Swecker about his career choices and experiences...

We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.

Well if the corrupt individuals were finally held accountable for their illegal acts I would feel much better - I still feel the FBI as a whole is the best we have ---mountaineerman wrote: ↑Mon Feb 14, 2022 10:14 pmGrowing up the FBI was like Superman to me . There is much more information/misinformation nowadays in the media than back in my ancient days...or so it seems.
