Luke had a concert at WVU. The football program gave him a jersey and got a picture of it. End of story.

The funnier part is the concert was actually in Pittsburgh, at the Steelers stadium...also the home of the Pitt Panthers - the WVU Mountaineers long-hated rivals. Kinda funny WVU went and gave Luke a jersey while he was performing in Pitt's Stadium, but he probably just hooked up Coach with some tixs and M&G passes and Coach thought it would be a nice gesture.

This is a no story. Plenty of schools/teams give famous people jerseys when they perform. Non issue.

Not an issue for me - for either Luke Combs or Eric Church - like their music and both have roots with APP. Both are celebrities and duties include PR at all events. It is part of the gig. EC has been a little more up front about his ties with UNC - however he has the right to choose. Even if he does not believe me - he will always be an APP as the time here shaped him for his future and his success - not UNC!

Just so y'all know, and I can get it out there in black-and-white- If I ever become famous, I'm taking all the free stuff from everybody. I will take any jersey, shirt, shoes, whatever anyone gives me, especially if it has my name on it. I'll still be a black-and-gold Mountaineer 'til I die.

Well... 'cept Georgia Southern. They can keep their crap.
