Yosef Tour

I would love for folks that had the opportunity to catch one of the Yosef Tours to give an overview of what they heard/saw. Some of us live out of state (to the north) and don't have access to the tour. Some folks have dropped a tidbit here or there but I would like to hear what was said about the entire athletic program and certainly anything specific to any sport.

About what you would expect. Doug Gillen talked up the academic achievements across the entire athletics program. He also praised the three conference coaches of the year (field hockey, wrestling, and men’s basketball). Facilities continue to need upgrades. Said something about Charlotte getting a large matching contribution from the state for football and that App will campaign for this match as well (with the jab that we actually sell out our stadium).

Field Hockey expecting another good season
New Women’s basketball coach really excited to be at App. Upgrading recruiting to be a priority to compete in the Belt

Also Coach Bentley says they are adding a new section of bleachers to Varsity with chair backs to increase capacity for their matches. He says the ACC schools don’t like coming to Boone because of our match fan support
