Luke Combs voices US Open intro
The voice of the intro to the US Open is done by one of our own.
And on a different note, the new, old Pinehurst #2 is growing on me. This is the first Open there I will not see at least one day live. It’s a great venue, but last time it was so dusty I had to take two showers when I got home. It looks like the native areas are more, well native this time around, and perhaps less dusty? If anyone is there, just know I am envious.
Oh, and go Bryson.

Went Thursday. Came home with sand in my shoes. Not an amazing spectator course unless you want to sit in one spot in a grandstand all day but did walk the entire layout and saw a lot of good golf. The property and amenities are five star and the customer service rivals Augusta. 100% glad I went. Iconic place.

Augusta is the standard, but I have never stood in line for anything at a US Open. I was always moving. Concessions, souvenirs, restrooms, you name it.appfanjj wrote: ↑Sat Jun 15, 2024 5:48 pmWent Thursday. Came home with sand in my shoes. If you can get there early and sit in the grandstand behind 17 on the far right side of grandstand, you can see players putt on 16, play 17 and tee off 18...but I prefer to walk to different holes.

Luke Combs was on CBS Sunday morning today. Good interview session with him. Showed what I believe was the App concert but no mention of App or his time in college.

Was in there Thursday.
SUPER NICE venue.
Unreal food and beverages.
Next to 18 green.

Hell of a tournament and what a great final round. Glad Bryson pulled it off.

Partly Bryson pulling it off and nerves got to Rory on two putts near the end.

From what I could tell Rory’s lines were good on the two misses, but hit them too hard. The short ones have been haunting him for a while.

His line may have been fine on 18, but he hit a terrible putt. He wiped it and left the face open.AppState00_01 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 16, 2024 6:47 pmFrom what I could tell Rory’s lines were good on the two misses, but hit them too hard. The short ones have been haunting him for a while.
