This. The man was successful because he ran the school based on a ROI basis and less on an ideological basis. It seemed to me that his approach was less about his legacy and more about serving the student's interests. I know there are faculty that haven't been enamoured with his style, but they're not the customer. I can say confidently that my degree has appreciated each year since I graduated and he's got a lot to do with it.9Steelman wrote:I really believe his business, marketing, financial background, and understanding the power of people was the things that made him a mover and a shaker for the "APP STATE Movement".
