My son said power lines down and trees as well. I can’t believe that it’s even possible to plan a game. Doppler shows it gone by early afternoon but it’s going to be a huge mess. I’m in Fayetteville and it’s absolutely pouring here.

Anyone heard the game has been canceled? Rumor is the game will be canceled due to the flooding in Boone. Someone close to the Liberty side has stated that it will be canceled. Just checking.

Just heard from student friend, they had to be rescued from house. Water too deep for his car to get out.

Being in law enforcement I've gotten to hear about things from all over NC. Right now Montreat Damn has been breached and flooding is occuring. Lake Lure damn is close to failing and they are evacuating down river. Buncombe county has lost 4 fire departments to flooding. The list goes on and on. Right call on cancelling this game. It's going to be a good couple of days for everything to get cleaned up.

For those around old enough to remember, is this worse than when Hugo hit?
