So...the family went to London for a week vacation and I'm sporting the ASU black and gold. I've also got a cap on with "Appalachian State" across the front. First London-er that I meet sees my cap and says, "Oh, AppaLATCHian State!!"
Folks in another country pronounce it right; why can't ESPN, local yokels, and most Americans in general say right? Hey Herbstreit...er...Kirkstreit....and your "expert" Corso: take a lesson from across the pond.
