A chat room is up and running. You can access it via the Gameday Chat in the top navigation bar. You must be logged in and have at least 3 posts on the message board in order to use the chat room. Enjoy!

I just tried it out and got the first quick note in chat to post, but when I tried to do a quick 2nd post in chat it said I could not post again so quickly. How much time must pass before subsequent posts in chat are allowed?

It's currently set at 10 seconds. If we need to decrease that time we certainly can. It's really meant to prevent anyone from clogging up the chat and being obnoxious.

I'd totally get rid of the cool down timer entirely. Some of the funniest moments in chat on the old board was the quick, boom boom, of posts when big plays were happening and everyone was commenting at the same time. The fingertips were smoking.

Will do. If it becomes a problem I will put it back in place. Also -- the chat works great on smartphones so hopefully we can get some good "live from the game" activity too!
