Best Outdoor School
Guys we are going up against Western. One last time, even if not a SoCon event.

I think you can vote once a day from the same IP address.
And WCU is winning at present from what I heard.

Re: Best Outdoor School
Unlike some I visit their board and am friendly. In fact I voted for them a few times in the NCAA online vote during the basketball tourney in March. Somehow they were connected in to that and App never got involved for what ever reason.ASU-FTW wrote:We're up 56% to their 44%. Keep votes coming
But in this case if we lose to them, given our alumni base, and school population then I will be upset. Most of the voting will be done by the likes of those that frequent a board such as this, and we are so much more active with a larger base of members.

I've found that, like you, they are civil to me when I am civil to them. They don't call me a Boone Goon if I don't call them a Can'tamount.McLeansvilleAppFan wrote:Unlike some I visit their board and am friendly. Re: Best Outdoor School
From my experience (only a couple times), I've found a couple of them that are completely civil. However, the really vocal ones have been incredibly rude and paranoid, usually unprovoked. Those people are the reason I stay away from there if at all possible. There's only so many times I can bear listening to "I hope you BOONE GOONS enjoy irrelevance in the Slum Belt! Hope your janitor jobs are going well!"

I read it occasionally. That board is a beacon of little-man syndrome every time App is in the discussion...which is every single day.

I stopped posting there a couple years ago myself. However, I do venture over there from time to time in order to get a good laugh.Gonzo wrote:I read it occasionally. That board is a beacon of little-man syndrome every time App is in the discussion...which is every single day.

Re: Best Outdoor School
I'm voting, and all, but am I bad because I really couldn't care less who wins this thing? What do we get for winning? The winner between App and ccc will get to take on Garrett College. I never even heard of it until a couple of days ago.McLeansvilleAppFan wrote:We are losing to WC now.

Just vote once a day and be done with it. I think it uses a cookie to track daily voting, and they may also dump out loads of votes from one IP address.ASU-FTW wrote:Someone must be stuffing the ballot box. If so, the website removes duplicate votes at the end. Waste of time

They adjusted for ballot stuffing last year.McLeansvilleAppFan wrote:Just vote once a day and be done with it. Still leading 51% to 49%.
Almost voted for west carolina, I read quickly and thought it said outhouse school.
