TRIAL RUN TO BOONE
Did a trial run from Gastonia to Boone today. Nice drive up, a little shopping for the wife, chance to test out rain gear, check out THE ROCK, and then post game meal in Hickory on way home. How many hours til First home game.

Hey Coach....how is Hwy 321 from BR to Boone? How is the construction going and is it going to be a delay with game traffic?
We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.

Re: TRIAL RUN TO BOONE
I can answer that - no new lanes have been open although there is plenty of grading and construction being done around 321. Unless they actually work on Game Day - I can't see a significant delay being caused.scatman77 wrote:Hey Coach....how is Hwy 321 from BR to Boone? Re: TRIAL RUN TO BOONE
No new lanes yet, should not be a problem. My concern is in Boone where they have ground the road for repaving but have not finished. Hope it is not a prob for students moving in or for games.scatman77 wrote:Hey Coach....how is Hwy 321 from BR to Boone? How is the construction going and is it going to be a delay with game traffic?
