Double Scroll Windows
This is really obnoxious. I'm constantly having to click in and out of the message board window to either scroll the main page or board when a thread has a lot of replies. Please change it back.

Re: Double Scroll Windows
It can be a pain I know. The first unread post seems to work just a little bit better getting folks to the first unread post in a thread. It's sort of a pick your poison thing. Which would you rather have and where does the majority lie?

Re: Double Scroll Windows
I think the first unread post thing has gotten blown out of proportion. It's not that difficult to simply scroll the page. However, this multi-scroll thing is a royal pain.
Is there anyway to make a log in feature part of the board itself so folks who don't want to play screen tag can bypass everything else entirely by just visiting:
*EDIT*

Re: Double Scroll Windows
The board is optimized for folks to view it within the confines of the site. That's the reason it's not posted to go straight to the link you have. Managing both viewing ways would make things twice as difficult. We may get rid of the scroll bars in the future - we may not. It is just dictated by what the majority want and are comfortable with. I am working on an option to get rid of the scroll bars and permanently fix the unread post issue, but it's a bit difficult to say the least. Re: Double Scroll Windows
For my part - I vote for losing the multi-scroll thing. The first unread post thing has never annoyed me.

Re: Double Scroll Windows
Is that why when I click on a user's name, mark the board read, click to a parent forum the screen instantly scrolls to the bottom and I'm staring at blank space? Just seems it's getting more difficult to navigate instead of easier.Yosef wrote:I am working on an option to get rid of the scroll bars and permanently fix the unread post issue, but it's a bit difficult to say the least.
