Calling all cyclists, you have only one month left to register for the AppState Cycling Team's Group Ride scheduled for October 20th in Boone. The event includes two choices of rides, a 24.3 mile loop and a 42 mile Viaduct loop. The routes will be marked and led by cycling team members. Afterwards, the team will host a free tailgate for all riders. And for those who would like to stay and experience AppState football, I have two tickets that I would love to give away.
For all the details, please go to appstate.edu, then on the left, click on alumni, then at the top, click on events, then on the right, click on next to get to the October calendar, and then scroll down to October 20th and click on that entry. That will take you to the cycling teams website where you will find all the information about the group ride, tailgate, and game.
