As many of you remember, the day after the Georgia Southern game, the App State BOT met as schedule on September 26th. At that meeting, the board approved a contract readjustment (i.e. raise) for Satterfield and a three-year extension through 2018 for Baseball Coach Billy Jones.

Soon after, several newspapers filed FOIA requests for Satterfield's contract. I filed an FOIA as well, not just for Satt's contract, but all App State varsity sport head coaches.

After a while, I got a few contracts, but not Satt's. Turns out the UNC Board of Governors has NOT ratified it yet. And until it is, the lawyers won't give to the SID, Mike Flynn.I also haven't gotten Jones' contract but have heard nothing about it not being approved.

New WBB Coach Angel Elderkin was offered and signed a contract the next week. What makes this weird is that her contract has been released and I got a copy of it (6 years, 150k base, 5k auto-raise each year).

The BOG has had meetings since September. A special meeting on October 22nd probably related to the academic scandal and a regularly-scheduled meetings on the 23rd and 24th. Their next scheduled meeting is on December 5th.

T-Dog: Thank you for doing the grunt work on these contracts. This is information we should all have access to. Unfortunately, obtaining it is never as easy as it should be.
